Godrej’s retail venture Nature’s Basket not only sells A-brands but also house brands or private label brands. The advantage of trading in privately labeled brands is higher profit margins, a direct connection to producers, and being able to offer consumers a wider portfolio of products. However, one important condition is that the design of these house labels must be attractive and qualitative in order to compete with other A-brands on the shelf.
In cooperation with Brand Dialogue, Yellow Dress Retail developed proposals for branding and labeling several of these private, house products.
